Nepalese dreams

«Nepal’s deposed king looks for new home with astrologers’ advice», I read in the News. This is interesting. It is yet another intriguing headline from this small and opaque country, which seems to exhibit strong attraction upon our most opaque artists.

As we speak, Wall of Time’s fellow time traveller and miner for the hearts of gold, David Woodard, is on site to explore possibilities of a joint art project with a renowned Kathmandu prison cell inhabitant. I would not be surprised to see them team up with the now unemployed king, and possibly his astrologer too.

I still somewhat regret not to have followed the invitation of Nepal’s prime international literary output DER FREUND in 2005. One wonders what it does to the soul to be high up there in the Himalaya. — If everything else fails, a crash course with a well-acquainted and trustworthy astrologer of mine (or, opportunistically, a crash course in Maoist theory) will do, and I’ll be off to Nepal.
